El día domingo 15 de mayo se dio a cabo la ceremonia de premiación «Billboard Music Awards 2022». La cual, contó con un total de 62 categorías de premiación.
La premiación tuvo lugar en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas, Nevada. The Weeknd contó con 17 nominaciones y Doja Cat fue incluida en 14 categorías.
